Edinburgh - Scotland - UK Location Google Map - Close to the Union Canal, Sighthill, West Side Plaza Shopping Centre, Stevenson College and Heriot-Watt University - 3 bus lines to the center (about 30 minutes to Princes St). There are two night buses too (N30 and N25). - The area is not considered the safest location in town, but not the worst either. The area is VERY Scottish (few migrants). Concept- Opportunity to "land" in Edinburgh in a stress-less fashion: you get here, get used to the place, get a job and maybe find another place closer to town. Commitment of a month and then flexibility. Priority to long-termers, though.- No deposit & fair price (140 - 300 pounds, depending of the amount of people in. The market is usually around 300-350 all inc.). The landlady is a Couchsurfer. She lives in Spain but we are in touch. - 3 rooms, one of which is shared (living room). The main common area is the kitchen, and it is quite lively ! - There will always be warm tea ready when you come home. Appartement is shared by HospEx Networks members only. - A much shared stuff as possible: a free-zone where you can drop what you don't need and take what you want. Shared things in the bathroom. A fair view on food: take what you need, replace it and BE FAIR. Unless labelled otherwise, things are shared, basically. Privacy & ownership is possible in rooms. |
